About Mini Dental Implant Dentist Dr. Harvey Reiter
Dr. Harvey Reiter has nearly five decades of experience in the dental field, with advanced training in sleep apnea treatments, dental anxiety relief, and dental implants for tooth replacement.
Dr. Reiter graduated from the University of Pittsburgh School of Dental Medicine in 1966. He continued his training by completing mini residences for full-mouth reconstruction, TMD, and sleep apnea. He also received his certification in oral sedation dentistry to provide anxiety-free, painless treatments for his patients. Dr. Reiter is committed to ensuring everyone is comfortable and relaxed while in our Las Cruces dental office.
Dr. Reiter is a member of the American Academy of Dental Sleep Medicine, Academy of Clinical Sleep Disorders, American Academy of Implant Dentistry, and Doctors of Conscious Sedation. To ensure he stays up to date on the latest techniques and treatments, he spends more than 100 hours each year studying and continuing his education in implants and sleep apnea. Currently, he is taking courses in Guided Implant Surgery and Placement for the most accurate implant placement possible. He knows that there are many patients who can’t eat properly due to missing teeth and ill-fitting dentures, and implants are the cure for most of these patients.
Dr. Reiter has one son, an attorney, and one daughter, a CPA. He is married to Kathy Trinh, from Ho Chi Minh in Vietnam. In his spare time, he likes to travel with his wife throughout the United States and in Asia, practice target shooting, and attend motor racing events.
